Quick, easy, tasty recipes are our favorite! With Labor Day weekend done, with school in full swing, and with trying to juggle everything all at once, we know how exhausting it is to think of cooking dinner. So we wanted to share three go-to recipes that are quick, easy, and tasty. You can throw these recipes together in a pinch and not worry about skimping on flavor or nourishment.

Tomatoes and Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  1. Fresh ripe tomatoes. Roma, heirloom, and grape tomatoes work well with this recipe. The number of tomatoes depends on which type you are using and how many people you are preparing this recipe for.
  2. A drizzle of Balsamic Vinaigrette.
  3. Fresh basil. Dried basil works well too.
  4. Fresh ground black pepper.

Directions:

  1. Cut the tomatoes into rounds.
  2. Drizzle balsamic over them until they’re lightly covered.
  3. Add sprigs of fresh basil.
  4. Sprinkle fresh black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve and enjoy.

Roasted Everything Bagel Cauliflower

Ingredients:

  1. One head of cauliflower.
  2. 4 T Everything Bagel seasoning.
  3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-size pieces.
  3. Add the cauliflower to a sprayed-down bake-safe dish.
  4. Sprinkle your seasoning drizzle olive oil over each floret. You can add more seasoning if you like.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Roast cauliflower for approximately 15 mins. Less time if you want your cauliflower crunchy.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

*You can sub cauliflower with broccoli or add broccoli to this recipe. Both work well with the Everything Bagel seasoning.

Pan-seared Ahi Tuna 

Ingredients:

  1. Ahi Tuna filet (1 per person).
  2. 2 1/2 t black sesame seeds.
  3. 5 t white sesame seeds.
  4. Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Directions:

  1. Pat the tuna steak down with a paper towel.
  2. Add a drizzle of olive oil to all sides of the tuna steak.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the black sesame seeds with the white sesame seeds and add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to the mix.
  4. Put the sesame seeds on a plate, shake the plate so that the seed mix spreads out evenly.
  5. Lay the tuna steak onto the mix on all sides, front, back, and sides. Make sure that the steak is fully covered.
  6. In a skillet – cast iron preferably – place a good layer of olive oil down, and heat the pan for 3- 5 mins on medium heat. This pan needs to be very hot.
  7. Place the steak in the pan and cook for 30-60 seconds on both sides.
  8. Take the steak off the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes before you cut and serve it.
